While Department 56 dominates the lit porcelain and ceramic house market, other manufacturers have come out with some very nice pieces. Carole Towne/Lemax houses are creative and affordable, and blend well with D56 villages, depending on the theme you're doing. Fitz & Floyd has beautiful Christmas collectibles including some Village buildings and accessories that are of F&F usual superb high quality. Check them out for some great bargains!
