Hawthorne Village House
One can’t help but be amazed at the huge variety of Christmas and other villages produced by Hawthorne Villages. Whether you’re a NASCAR fan or yearn for a Norman Rockwell village, Hawthorne Villages comes out with so many licensed brand villages that you’re sure to find one that’s perfect. And if a model train for your village is what you need, they’ve got you covered there too.
The exclusive distributor for new Hawthorne Village products is Collectibles Today.
They have the full line of current villages and accessories, all brand new, and they offer a convenient installment payment plan to collection subscribers. Each village is considered a collection that you subscribe to. You can buy a complete collection at once, or do it on a monthly subscription basis to spread out the payments. These villages are not cheap, and many collectors find this to be very convenient. You can also buy pieces “a la carte”. The pieces are made of polyresin, the houses are lit, and the collections are lovely.
An alternative that most of us like is saving big money by buying Hawthorne villages on eBay. You’ll need to be patient and persistent with some of these villages, because some of these themes are highly collectible for their brand name – like the Elvis and Campbell’s Soup Christmas Villages, which I haven’t seen come up on ebay very much.

Not only do they have these wonderful collections, but they make an electric model train to go with just about all of them! And the accessory pieces are just fabulous. If you love villaging, you owe it to yourself to check these out.
Like all collectibles makers these days, most collections will retire at some point. Some Hawthorne villages I’ve seen, but are no longer listed as current, include the Terry Redlin’s Winter Memories Village (not specifically Christmas, but the winter theme works!), the Coca Cola Holiday Village, and probably others I haven’t run across yet. This is where eBay can be a great help in finding those retired pieces that you missed the first time around, plus you save a lot of money buying a “used” village piece.
So there you have it. Hawthorne Villages makes something for everyone, and if they haven’t made it yet they probably will soon. Keep checking back for updates!

I love the Precious Moments Christmas village. In addition to their figurines, ornaments and nativity scenes, their villages are a welcome addition to any home decor during the Christmas season.
